LETTING GO!!!!!!

I realized my role as a mom in such a strange way yesterday. I took the kids to the skaing rink for Connor's b-day. Nikolas was just learning to skate better but he was getting it. Connor he got new blades (THANK YOU BRANDON)and was trying them out and he really got the hang of it... And my littlest one Kaitlyn at a whole 5 years old took off and just showed me how good she can skate. Connor and Kaitlyn were even shaking their little booties to the music... It was so cute to see. But I realize that even though it seems like a little thing for them to do like skate to me it was BIG. There they were doing it without ME. They didn't need me anymore for that and they could do it alone. They didn't need me to hold thier hands or show them how to skate, they had it figured out..My eyes watered and then I let it pass. There will be so many more of these moments.... I love my little monkeys... But I really dislike that they are growing up.
