This weekend has had it's ups and downs but more ups then downs. Yesterday we went for haircuts which the kiddos were so well behaved for... Then we came home and chilled out for a bit. About 4 pm we went to BCC to feed the ducks.. But something so cool happened. A bunch of turtles came up to the shore to eat too.... The kids fed the turtles and they were just having a great time. Then Connor decided he wanted to try to catch one. They all wanted to try... So one by one they learned how to catch turtles by themselves. They worked together without fighting or disagreeing. They just worked as a team and learn to flip the turtle over and it wouldn't scratch or bite them. They took pictures with smiles of accomplishment and it was really great to see them work together without Mom's interfering or showing them how to do it. They gained just a little more independence.
Well tomorrow is the first day of school. Kaitlyn is going into kindergarden. I can't believe how big she is getting.Connor looks so grown up in his uniform and haircut. Nikolas is ready with his backpack and new uniforms. I am excited that they go back to school but saddened because Nik is one year closer to graduating. Connor is growning up and my baby girl is gaining the independance.. BOOHOO!!!
The circle of life is happy and sad all at the same time..... But every experience is so worth the emotions you get to feel....
