Where do I begin?

Yes, I dropped off the map for about a year. Well at least in Blog world..... I have been super busy. The kids are with me full time, I have an amazing boyfriend and life is just beautiful. The most important lesson that I have learned is that GOD has control. A year and 3 months ago my life was HELL. If you know me you know why. But slowly out of that valley I started to climb that mountain one step at a time. There was moments that it got really hard and had to fall to my knees. Then there was the times that I didn't understand why. So I sat down and listened to GOD. It was very hard to understand it but my heart just knew he was telling me to be patient. So I sat and let him take the wheel. I had to get out of my van and switch seats with GOD. Was it hard, YES.... But I did it. I had my moments that I wanted to throw the van in park and get out. It was too hard. But then the Carrie Underwood song, Jesus take the wheel, would play in my head.
In this year I have gained my children full time, Established the MOST HEALTHY relationship with my boyfriend that I have ever had and understood completely what being LOVED felt like... I can tell you one thing, It is amazing..See your kids, they love you it's breed into them. But trusting another person with your heart that is not family it is difficult. Because it had already been hurt enough... But the cool thing about Brandon was this. He came prepared with the super glue and duct tape to put my broken heart back together. If there was any pieces missing he filled it with pieces of his heart.
Now as we just celebrated our 1 year anniversary I am so thankful that I had the strength to trust God to take the wheel... I know I couldn't have gotten here on my own... So this post is truly just to thank GOD for all the blessings I received this year.

This picture was taken on our Anniversary.
(the hints and clues I didn't see till the end.It was so obvious had I just stopped looking into the hints so much)(He got me good and once he showed and told me the hints I was so amazed at all the thought that went into it.

He surprised me in the COOLEST way. These were the hints..
It started with RED roses.
Then he ordered a BOSTON cream donut.
A card with a little thing he wrote. Each sentences words started with letters that spelled BOSTON.
Then tickets to AEROSMITH that night ( Whom are from BOSTON)
With his T-shirt from when he went to Aerosmith as a teenager.
A little while later I opened a box with NANTUCKET cookies, a can of clam chowder, 2 pairs of RED SOCKS and a Boston Red socks hat.

All leading up to the final gift.

He is taking me to BOSTON on the first weekend of OCT. to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. Why you ask??? Because on our first date I told him that was something I really wanted to do...

That is why Brandon rocks. He listens to me. He loves me, and He shows me everyday how much he loves me.
