WHO I AM!!!!!!!!

When I look in the mirror I don't see a super model. I don't see a skinny little body that is fed by salad and twigs and no YUMMIES..I Don't see a PERFECT face, no flaws, wrinkles, or sun spots. I don't see the GIRL I was in high school..

Last night deep conversation I wondered what it was about me that made me so special to my babe...Now don't get me wrong I think I am pretty,smart and all that stuff.I mean there is other women in the world... Maybe once in a while I still need the reassurance that I AM THE ONE. I guess maybe once in a while I like to hear it even though my heart knows it. It has been 15 months and still going strong.. Life is great and getting better every day.. But once in a while I look in the mirror and wonder what is it about me that makes me so great...

It was all described in just five words. Your Everything Most Women Aren't.
In my 20's I would have gotten really upset.. But then in my wise old age of 33 I think differently.

I would have thought at 25.

1. I'm not as pretty..
What I know now!! I have so much beauty but it's not just on the outside. It's not the face or body.... Sure I have a MOM body and I have crow's feet and a few wrinkles... All that means is I gave birth to three children. I carried them for 9 months. Loved them, cared for them, Embraced the miracle that I was doing. Feed their craving of STEAKS(Connor), BMT subs and Chips Ahoy and Chocolate milk (Nikolas), Fruit and Salads(Kaitlyn) I had 3 children GROW inside me.
Crow's feet and wrinkles... Well the sun and I SMILE AND LAUGH ALOT.....
My beauty is not just on the outside.... It's not all about vanity for me.
My beauty is my heart, my ability to listen, my mothering, my loving smile, my arms for hugging, my eyes for looking at the world in a different way.
2. My attitude.
I don't take any crap but I do have a caring, loving personality. Basically I will love you until you do me WRONG. And please don't think disagreeing with me or having your own opinion is wrong.... It's not.... We are all entitled to that. I don't have any enemies. Well 1 but he doesn't matter in this. Well in a way. Because of my ex I have gotten stronger, grown one heck of a back bone and learned to stand up for what I believe in and NEVER GIVE UP.
If you are on my good side... I will love you and laugh with you and be your best friend...
3. My ARMS. They bring a safe place to my children. A warm hug to those important people in my life. A place to snuggle at night and cuddle up before bedtime for the kiddos. These arms have seen so much weight placed upon my shoulders but when it seemed tough they always caught what fell off my shoulders..
I am a boo-boo fixer, a homemaker, chef and chicken soup maker. I can embrace life with the simplest things. I can listen, love and laugh all at the same time. I can cook and smile at the same time.. I am the homework checker and the time out enforcer. I am the love of Brandon's life. I am one of the best mother's in the world. I am exausted when I get home and especially after the kids run me for the next 3 hours.. But I am that Beautiful woman that glows with so much inner beauty that the exterior can look a little wore out.. I have a huge smile and a contagious laugh.. I am the Queen of One-liners that always brighten my best friend's day.
I am the Mother my children run to for a hug and kiss. I am the girlfriend that my Babe can't wait to be with. I am content with who I am because... I am NOT LIKE A LOT OF WOMEN.. I don't have to have all the materialistic stuff... It is nice to have but I don't NEED it.

I have all these things and I got them for FREE...
1. 3 beautiful kids.
2. A wonderful DISFUNCTIONAL family.
3. A HOME
4. Endless hugs and kisses from the kids
5. Smiles from my kids when I pick them up followed by a," I missed you Mommy."
6. The greatest friends in the world.
7. The Most Amazing, loving, and caring Man in the world.
8. Smiles and laughter that fill my day.
9. Happiness with life.
10.Endless happy memories from all of the above.....

So I am not like MOST Women. There are only a select few that will trade the eyeliner for colored pencils and a few minutes coloring with the kids... A COACH bag for the Target one cause the kids wanted something or needed something.

If you would trade your figure for cocoa on a blanket in the back yard talking to your kids and looking at the stars just spending QUALITY time with them then you are an exception to a lot of woman. Instead of focusing on the crow's feet and the wrinkles focus on HOW THEY GOT THERE... EMBRACE THEM because THAT IS WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT......

I have found my TRUE LOVE.... Why? Because I am real... Because most women AIN'T Got Nothing on me.. And Because I am a BEAUTIFUL person both inside and out.
